A Fintech Sandbox is a tech-enabled design studio where students and professionals generate and experiment with data sets, scenarios, visualisations, models and strategies. Such a sandbox will involve gamification of behaviour both at the microcosmic level of the individual at specific points in their financial history, and large populations to understand possible trends and directions in areas as varied as lending and borrowing, trading in commodities, equities and futures. GIFT IFI will build policy and technology fintech sandbox in collaboration with industry partners to design and test solutions for specific problems and the impact of policies on consumers behaviour as well as their effectiveness. The sandbox would use industry platforms and data from the organisation. Several partners across the fintech ecosystem have shown keen interest to partner with GIFT IFI in building such experiential and application driven environment. Our courses will reflect such strong doing bias.
